Meet Our Founder
Ken Kortright is an entrepreneur, business owner, community leader, husband, and father. He is also the founder of the Kortright Kares Foundation. As the owner of a successful State Farm Agency in Patchogue, Ken has built his career around serving families, protecting futures, and strengthening the local community.
His entrepreneurial mindset brings structure, discipline, and long-term thinking to everything he leads. The foundation was created in honor of his father, whose work ethic, integrity, and belief in helping others shaped Ken’s life. Those values continue to guide him today. Together with his wife Monica and their two sons, Matthew and Jonathan, Ken believes deeply in the power of education, athletics, mentorship, and the arts to build character and create opportunity.
